How long does my hair need to for a wax?
Your hair should be 1/4 inch long about the length of a grain of rice. Waiting about 2 weeks after shaving will usually give enough length for a wax.
Will it hurt?
Waxing can be a little uncomfortable but we are well trained and use high quality wax to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
How should I prepare for a Brazilian wax?
Take a shower, no lotion, gently exfoliate 24 hours before your appointment and wear loose clothing to your appointment.
What do I do after a Brazilian wax?
Avoid hot baths, showers, saunas, and intercourse. Try not to touch the area.
Do I need to trim before my appointment?
Please do not trim your hair before the appointment. Trimming can cause some hairs to be too short to wax. It is easier to wax hair that is longer than hair that is too short.
How long will my wax last?
If it is your first time waxing you will see some hairs start to pop up sooner than if you have been waxing regularly for about 3-6 months. Once on a regular waxing routine you will experience longer results hair free. People usually get waxed every 4 weeks for the bikini area.
How can I prevent ingrown hairs?
Following proper after care instructions will help prevent ingrown hairs. Unfortunately some people are prone to getting ingrown hairs but regular exfoliation and moisturizing can help prevent ingrown hairs from forming. We will provide you with instructions and product recommendations after your wax.
Can I Wax on my period?
Yes you can wax on your period. You will just need to use a tampon or menstrual cup during the service.
Some people may feel a little more sensitive during their cycle.
